Fused Glass Art by Our Glass

Our Glass is the brain child of Anita Trudeau and Mike Sweek. Anita′s creative energy is continued and carried on by her daughter Alyssa Trudeau and Mike Sweek, who live and create in Portland, Oregon. They create functional and decorative art with the warm glass process known as fused glass.

They share a love of and aim to capture the play of light on glass. In addition to coasters and plates, they especially like crafting sun catchers and mini landscapes created from mixtures of opaque, iridized and transparent colors. In many of their designs and objects, they impart warmth to a medium that by its nature is brittle and hard or in the fractured patterns on some of their plates, they create glass art with an edgy vibe.
